Half-Marathon

Had so much fun running 13.1 miles today with Mandi!  I'm really proud of the pace we kept and grateful she was there to help me finish strong at the end.  Luke snapped these pictures just a minute before we crossed the finish line.  I had my personal best time at 2 hours 8 minutes.  Last year I did this same race at Thanksgiving Point and it took me 2 hours 26 minutes, so I shaved off almost 20 minutes this time around! 

Who wants to run with us next year?  It's one of the most beautiful races, and so well organized, with tons of aid stations, and delicious food at the end of the race.  Who's up for it?  I plan on running next year in under 2 hours.  :)

The Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point

 I love the annual tulip festival!  We went on Ava's birthday and the weather was perfect.  The girls got cotton candy and were on a sugar high the whole time, but it was so much fun!  They weren't bratty or anything, just full of excitement and energy.
 

There's a beautiful statue garden based on the life of Christ.  Luke took some great pictures that really show how special it is there.  I totally recommend going, it's a very peaceful and reflective place.

Ava's 6th Birthday Party!

This was Ava's awesome fun friends party for her 6th birthday at Hang Time at the XSI Factory in Lehi.  We had so much fun!  Even the adults had fun jumping on the trampolines and diving into the foam pits!

Graduation

This is our friend Linnea who also graduated with a BA in Photography and Visual Arts.

The graduation was an awesome way to finish and close a chapter in our lives. It makes it official, now that we have pictures!
