Our Disney Trip!

These pictures are some of the highlights from our trip.  There were so many pictures and so many fun memories so I tried to narrow it down...and they're all out of order but that's ok.

This is Merida from the new Disney/Pixar movie Brave.  The girls loved her and she was the first princess we met in the park.

Luke finally got me on Tower of Terror on our last day.  The Pickrell's were there with us too!  I loved the ride, even though my eyes are closed and I'm screaming!

We also met Rapunzel from Tangled and the girls loved her too!  They were both wearing their Rapunzel dresses and it was pretty cool.  I kind of felt bad for Luke because we spent a lot of time meeting princesses and getting autographs.  I loved it though!  It was the first time I had met any princesses.

We ate lunch at Ariel's Grotto and it was awesome!  I loved the food and although expensive I thought the experience and memories were totally worth it.

We loved the new Cars land.  And spent a lot of time in California Adventure.  It was all of our first times in California Adventure park.

Minnie does a show in California Adventure called Minnie's Fly Girls.  After the show she meets people and takes pictures.  That's why she's wearing a different outfit.

On our first day in California we went to the beach for the afternoon.  The girls hunted for seashells and got their feet wet jumping in the ocean waves.

Tess loves Jessie!  She even bought a Jessie doll with her money.

We went on the Star Tours ride every day and on our last day we went with the Pickrells.  Ava and Tess really loved this ride, with the 3D glasses and I think it's really fun too.  I kept wanting to spend all my money in the Star Wars gift shop right outside the ride.  They had such cool stuff in there.

Christmas 2012

Every year we always go to temple square to see the lights.  It was City Creek's first Christmas this year and it was decorated beautifully as well.

We spent this Christmas up the canyon from Cedar City in a cabin in Duck Creek Village. It was awesome to have all my extended family there.

For Christmas this year our family's big gift was a trip to Disneyland.  The girls got puzzle pieces that they had to put together to figure out the gift.

There was tons of snow but we still tried to play on the swing set outside the cabin.

The snow was so deep that Ava jumped off the swing and got stuck in snow up to her waist.

These santa pictures are a little out of order. Every year Santa comes to the Hansen family party the Saturday before Christmas.  He gives presents to all the kids and the girls look forward to it every year.

We went to church in Afton, Utah the sunday before Christmas.  This sacrament set was on display in their building.  I thought it was pretty cool to see what the pioneers here used to use for the sacrament.

While at the cabin we really enjoyed doing lots of puzzles.  Luke and I helped work on this stamp puzzle for lots of hours and helped finish it.

The ice on the cabin went from the room to the the ground.  The kids thought it was awesome and would break off chunks of ice and use it as swords.

Driving home from the cabin was slow going because we were in a snowstorm.  I took these pictures as Luke drove.  It was one of the most beautiful drives I've ever been on.
