Downtown

Luke and I were downtown last week for a wedding lunch and he took this quick snapshot of me at temple square. I thought I'd put it on the blog because I haven't done a post in a long time.

Another Great Quote

For those of you who don't know, I'm back in school this year online through BYU Independent Study. I just finished my first course and it was awesome! Only about 15 left to go! Anyway, while studying for the final exam I came across two great quotes:

1. "Education is the power to think clearly, the power to act well in the world's work, and the power to appreciate life." - Brigham Young

2. "Above knowledge is wisdom, above wisdom is character." - David O. McKay

I'm not just finishing my degree so that I can get a better job, or have a nice looking diploma hang on my wall. I really want to learn and gain refinement, and like the scriptures say, "be wise."

Aubrey's Bridals

Luke took Aubrey Morgan's bridals last night at the Garden Park Ward in Salt Lake. I was there helping as Luke's assistant and it was so much fun! Anyway, here is my favorite pic out of the bunch. If you'd like to see more, check out Luke's blog.

Farewell Chase!

Chase was set apart as a missionary on Tuesday night. It was a special experience to be there. The spirit was very strong and confirmed that Chase has been called to serve and the Lord will be with him.

This picture was taken right outside the Brick Oven down in Provo. We had lunch together, then said goodbye to Chase before Phil and Jill dropped him off at the MTC. He'll be there for 2 months, then he's off to Fiji! I know he'll be a great missionary. He has a strong testimony that he will share. We love you Chase and we'll miss you!

Haili's Bridals

These are some of the pictures Luke took a couple weeks ago of my beautiful sister-in-law Haili. After getting home from my vacation, I decided to look through them all. Here's a post of some of my favorite.

Cabbage Patch

Here's a recent picture from a family reunion we attended in Canada.

I'm holding my little "cabbage patch doll" Tessie.

I've had so many comments that Tess looks like a Cabbage Patch doll, so I thought I'd post a blog to show the comparison. She really is a little doll!

A Great Quote

A firm, unchangeable course of righteousness through life is what secures to a person true intelligence.
